Halima approached me last year all the way from Switzerland where she now lives with Efe. She loved our films and wanted one of her own for her wedding this summer. We don’t get Nigerian weddings that often but we do love them. They are very different, for starters we hadn’t done any other wedding where not only the bride changed outfit 3 times but so did the rest of their bridal party.
We had rain and sun during the day and hundreds of admirers as we walked across Westminster Bridge. They were eager to congratulate the handsome couple and take their photo. The evening was a great mix of traditional music and dancing where everyone took part and laughed.
