Venue: Penshurst Place
Penshurst Place in the Kentish countryside is a historic building near Tonbridge, constructed in the 14th century. It is a fantastic example of medieval architecture in England. Although it certainly looks like one, Penshurst place is not a castle but a “fortified manor house”, which is what such country residences were built as at the time. There are so many hidden corners and secret doorways in this venue that your wedding video at Penshurst Place will look amazing if you take the time out with your wedding videographer to wander round for some couple’s shots.
The gardens, dating back to the 16th century, are no less spectacular and with over 48 acres of grounds to choose from, 11 acres being formal gardens, you will find a nice backdrop to your film at any time of the year. Your wedding at Penshurst Place is bound to be steeped in history!
